Sports increase confidence and motivate kids to stay in the classroom and aim for higher education. They help build character and teach life lessons that extend well beyond the playing field. That’s why we’ve made it the mission of our Foundation, Community, and Sports Matter programs to give young athletes opportunities to play.

Dell Scholars

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation created Dell Scholars to recognize and assist an underserved population—students in the academic middle from low-income households who are often among the first in their families to attend college. Since starting the program in 2004, the foundation has supported more than 4,800 scholars, including more than 2,000 college graduates. All Dell Scholars have overcome significant personal challenges in their pursuit of higher education. The financial award helps students with various education expenses; but, most importantly, the program is more than just a check:

Gordon Hay Scholarship

Billy Welu Scholarship

The Professional Bowlers Association Billy Welu Scholarship is awarded annually, recognizing exemplary qualities in male or female college students who compete in the sport of bowling. The scholarship winner receives $1,000. To be eligible candidates must be amateur bowlers who are currently in college (preceding the application date) and maintain at least a 2.5/4.0 GPA or equivalent.

Nordson BUILDS Scholarship

The mission of Nordson BUILDS is to attract and develop a diverse, highly-skilled talent pool for careers in the manufacturing industry. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible to receive a Nordson BUILDS Scholarship.

Runnicles Musical Arts Scholarship

In 2018, the Grand Teton Music Festival launched a scholarship competition in honor of Music Director Donald Runnicles. The annual competition is open to graduating high school seniors from Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana who are pursuing college studies in music. After submitting an audition video, semi-finalists are invited to perform in a daylong celebration of music at Walk Festival Hall, where they compete for the scholarship prize money in front of GTMF’s panel of renowned judges and a live audience.

The Kelly Law Team (KLT) is delighted to announce that for the fourth year since 2016, it is offering an educational scholarship.
